
ok so last night, while waiting for the bed and washing machine to arrive (it arrived at about 12.30am), i was doing some research and purely blank scanning of websites for information that i think could be useful and... tada.. it became a post for today. hahahah. so now, i will be some health freak and share some health freak information.
did you know:
that coffee could actually cause to spike stress hormones and increase insulin level? so therefore, drink tea! its better for your health as it helps boost up your metabolism rate. green tea in particular. try drinking up 1-3 cups a day.
beans are extremely nutrient dense while being poor in calories? so stock up on those beans will you!
nuts are whole real food. which is rich in protein, healthy fats, fiber, minerals and vitamins that are necessary for health and metabolism. it provides enough protein, fats and fiber that helps balance blood sugar and insulin. hence, keeps the appetite down.
metabolism rate slows down when you sleep. so dont eat when your going to bed. it goes along with this proverb eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and supper like a pauper. also, make sure you get enough sleep everyday(7-9 hours). because if you dont, it will spike your hunger hormones(grehlin) and your appetite will get out of control.
it is important to exercise. not intensively but just on your own pace. interval training of 2-3 times a week for 30minutes to speed up metabolism. so EXERCISE!
and there. what ever i just typed down is some health freak info and did you know that this are actually ways to help reduce weight? hahaha. i didnt notice it at first until i reread whatever i wrote. pfft.
oh.. i almost forgot. CHOCOLATES! well, who doesnt like chocolates? for me, as a chocoholic, chocolates are my everything. i cant live one day without chocolates and some may have seen how i went frantically without my daily dosage of chocolate. am i addicted? ahahah. so anyways, dark chocolates are my favorite! and did you know that it actually is rich in special phytonutrients (polyphenols), natural antioxidants and anti-inflammatory molecules that helps cool oof inflamation and help protect you against obesity? well, now you know! hahah. dark chocolate have minimal level of sugar. mainly darker chocolates that is about 70% and above of cocoa content is the best. cool right? so eat those dark bitter chocolates! not those milky ones. more cocoa, better! so if i offer you dark chocolate, just take it! im doing good to you. hahahah.
so now, someone will go, "OMG! Fishy is a health freak!" hahaha... anayways, my leg is getting better. not as swollen as yesterday. must be due to the exercise last night with the bed and the washing machine. carrying it from the truck up the the 4th floor. girl power arh kan Wawa. hahaha. ok till then.
